Calls for Work

Due to the limited space available in our monthly review, we are not able to publish every call for work we receive.  However, we take great pains to rotate the presses and magazines we feature in our "Calls" section and those we are unable to give print publication to in an issue are always featured here.


TRIPLOPIA

Triplopia's next reading period starts on April 15th and goes until May 15th.  The theme of the summer issue is "Voice." Currently they are accepting submissions of poetry (3-5 poems), short prose, essays on craft, and reviews. CONTROLLED BURN

LIBBON
 
Libbon magazine announes its 3rd short story fiction contest for stories less than 2500 words on any subject (except childrens'). The closing date is July 31st 2006. There is a small entry fee (but also cash prizes). Top 10 stories will be published in Libbon, the UK's newest short story magazine, and top authors receive a free copy. Past winners are from USA, Canada,New Zealand, Ireland and the UK. Libbon is a high quality magazine with illustrations in full color and black & white. POETICDIVERSITY
